San Jacinto County Beekeepers

San Jacinto County Beekeepers brings together new and experienced beekeepers around Coldspring, Texas — the county seat tucked between Lake Livingston and the Sam Houston National Forest, roughly an hour north of the Houston metro. The club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Coldspring, drawing members from Shepherd, Point Blank, Oakhurst, and the surrounding forest communities.

Meetings are where the practical knowledge gets passed around: hive inspections, pest and disease control, requeening, and pulling honey, all discussed by people keeping bees in the same humid East Texas conditions.
