Based in Seabrook, Texas, Carothers Coastal Gardens connects beekeepers across Seabrook and Harris County, Texas. Meetings are held 1st Wednesday, 6:00pm – a good chance to meet local beekeepers face to face.
The group is especially welcoming to beginners, pairing newcomers with mentors and often running a beekeeping class or field day each year. Most meetings feature a guest speaker or a seasonal topic – swarm season, mite management, honey harvesting, or getting a first hive through winter.
